He completed his residency program at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and his GI fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital also in New York City. He completed a second fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy under the mentorship of the world-renowned expert, Dr. Gregory Haber.

Dr. Mammen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is credentialed at all UPMC Hospitals, Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center and is an owner of Harrisburg Endoscopy & Surgery Center.
